Last Friday Meet-up Location Change

Simpkins Swim Center, 979 17th Ave, Santa Cruz

A note from Kathy Haber: Due to some persistent problems with meeting at Coffeetopia for the last Friday get together, I have been scouting a new, possible location. The lack of parking, NOISE level, limited space and dirty bathroom have finally gotten to be too much. The new possible location is the Library Annex at the Simpkins Swim Center. They are inviting small, informal community groups to meet there with no prior arrangements needed. There are 3 areas available to use, they don’t care about noise or food, it’s deserted on Friday mornings and there is a basic coffee cart. Parking is better and the bathrooms are great. We should try it out! Friday, Feb 28 at 10:30 will be a trial and then we can decide if we want to change.
